Margaret Bond ... 007?

Hi my name is Margaret...
I came to Collinsville from Brisbane in 2002. I was travelling to Perth the long way around visiting family and friends, but Collinsville got to me and here I am. I enjoyed the lifestyle and friendly and helpful people and
decided to buy a house and settle for a few years. I worked strenuously on the garden while my daughter did the building and renovations needed...We are very happy with our achievements..
We have been to Perth by plane not by motorhome . Thats still to come.
My daughter works on a station at Bygana and is getting married in November in Collinsville it is a very exciting time for all concerned.
Unfortunately ill health has curtailed my travels for a little while but I am filling in my time learning more computer work and going to Pensioners Club and also Hoi . Sue at Connect is a wonderful teacher and a delight to work with.
I will keep you informed.

CFMEU printer donation

Hi this is Phil Borghero, he is the President of the local CFMEU (our local mining union) and he was here with us today at our Seniors Session, to celebrate the arrival of our new Xerox colour laser printer. The CFMEU has kindly made a donation towards our new printer, which will make a huge difference to the running costs at the Telecentre. The union has participated in the Telecentre project from the outset in 2001, and it is terrific to see the union and the community firmly behind our efforts. Thanks again to Phil and all the union members that have contributed and supported the Telecentre for the last 4 years!

Life is great when you own a computer...

Hi my name is Joan and I bought my computer in March 05. I thought at the time it would be to just to type up the minutes of the meetings from the Collinsville Ladies Bowls Club. How wrong was I. I have really enjoyed going on the web and looking at Quilting Shops in Australia and America. It is just like shopping with my shopping trolley at Cornetts only the material is more interesting than the food. I have now purchased a digital camera so I will NEVER be bored. At the moment I am saving photos into my pictures my documents and I am hoping to send a C.D. of our family to Nicks family in Spain. The staff at the Telecentre are all very friendly and Sue is always very helpful. She is a person who loves her job. It is so good to see the older ladies from the Hillside Haven coming down to have a go.
c u soon
